Enterprise Architecture : CI/CD Data Pipeline

A top commercial real estate firm needed to streamline and improve the accuracy of its property and market data processes. Inefficient, error-prone systems were forcing agents to spend more time on reporting than selling, while leadership lacked confidence in data reliability and scalability.

Situation

Our client, one of that largest commercial real-estate companies in the country needed a way to improve the accuracy and efficiency of its data for agents across the business. The existing process for collecting and analyzing third-party property and market data was time-consuming, error-prone, and lacked a consistent mechanism for deduplication and enrichment. Agent were spending more time building report queries than prospecting and closing deals, while leadership lacked confidence in the integrity and scalability of the systems supporting growth.

Solution

Nuvolant designed and implemented and complete from-the-ground up data pipeline and analytics platform. The platform was built to ingest, reconcile, and enrich data from third-party sources.

The architecture was designed with resiliency at its core, providing replay and resync capabilities in the event of service failures, along with comprehensive monitoring and alerting for proactive issue resolution. Nuvolant implemented programmatic deduplication and reconciliation rules to ensure clean, high-quality data, while maintaining auditability for every record ingested. The solution was hosted on AWS, leveraging Terraform for infrastructure as code, PostgreSQL for data storage, and GitHub Actions for CI/CD, ensuring scalability and modern DevOps practices.

The project followed an agile delivery model across four phases: requirements gathering and design, development and testing, production deployment, and knowledge transfer. Throughout the engagement, Nuvolant collaborated closely with the clients and the respective business teams, providing documentation, training, and post-implementation support to ensure long-term sustainability

Outcome

With the new platform in place, our client gained a scalable and resilient data pipeline that ensures agents receive accurate, deduplicated, and enriched property data in near real time.

Agents are now able to focus more on prospecting and closing deals, supported by automatically generated and reliable reports. Leadership benefits from higher-quality data flowing into their CRM platform, strengthening client acquisition and retention strategies.
